Pelican Timing Services is a race timing company based out of Lafayette, LA. Our timers have 43 yrs combined of timing experience.  We are dedicated to helping our customers achieve the best possible experiences for their participants.

Pelican Timing Services offers professional timing using the latest technology for timing and scoring services for running, triathlons, duathlons, swimming and biking events throughout the South.

We utilize RFID ULTRA DISPOSABLE CHIP TIMING SYSTEMS for cycling, running, and multi sports race events. 

We offer many other services which includes Online Registration, at no cost to the Event or Organizer, Live Results designed for smartphones, and Results Kiosk, with individual result printouts for the participants.   Learn more about our Services.

Dogwood Dash 5K Run - Saturday, 4/04/26 In Person Race

The Tyler County Dogwood Dash will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. at the Woodville Elementary School parking lot, 505 North Charlton Street, in Woodville, TX.

Dr. L. Gayle Burton of Woodville began sponsoring 10K and 5K Fun Runs for the festival during the 1970's.   These runs took place during the early morning hours on the day of the parade and pageant.  Citizens State Bank continues this tradition by sponsoring the Dogwood Dash 5K.  

The Dogwood Dash begins at 8:30 a.m. on the Saturday morning of Queen's Weekend.  The race begins in front of Kirby Gym located at 505 N. Charlton Street with the route weaving through the city streets of Woodville and ending back at Kirby Gym.

The Pre-Registration deadline is April 3rd, 2026 at 3 p.m. at the Woodville main bank of Citizens State Bank.

Late registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. the morning of the race – the race will start promptly at 8:30 a.m.

Tradition Triathlon - Saturday, 4/18/26 In Person Race

Taking place in Tradition Lake located next to the Tradition Master Amenities Center located in the Village at Tradition neighborhood.

This event consists of a 600yd swim + 16.2m bike + 5K run

The very popular Tradition Triathlon is back at it’s original location. It will be hosted by the Gulf Coast Running Club. This race course will consist of a 600 yard flat lake swim around the perimeter of Tradition Lake. The 16.2 mile bike course is challenging with a few sharp climbs. The 5K run will be through the Village at Tradition. This is considered a sprint triathlon and a great way to start off your triathlon season.

The mission of Holden's Hope is to support families of infants who have long medical stays in the hospital, and families coping with miscarriages, stillbirths or the loss of an infant. SAE's Donut Dash 5K - Sunday, 4/26/2026 In Person Race

The Annual Donut Dash is a 5K and a 5K “Donut Dash” with 50% of proceeds benefiting The Schriever Lions Club and 50% of proceeds benefiting The Thibodaux Lions Club. The race begins and ends at the Rec Center on the campus of Nicholls State University.

The race begins at 8:30 am with a pre-race warmup at 8:15 am.  
For the 5K Donut Dash, when you get to the halfway mark (1.55 Miles) you will have to eat 4 donuts before you can continue on.
 
Donations: 

We will be splitting the funds 50/50 with The Schriever Lions Club and Thibodaux Lions Club.  If you would like to make a donation, you can do that here. We appreciate your support!
